Justin Levy, Formerly of WYPR, Joins the Company as Producer
Center for Emerging Media Announces New Hire
Baltimore, Maryland - February 19, 2008
The Center for Emerging Media (CEM) is pleased to announce that Justin Levy has joined the company as a producer.
Justin Levy most recently served as a producer at WYPR, where he was a producer for the Marc Steiner Show from November 2006 to February 2008. Prior to that, he worked with the WYPR News Department during the 2006 gubernatorial and senatorial campaigns. He also worked with the WYPR membership department and was an intern on The Signal, WYPR's weekly arts and culture program.
“I'm excited to be a part of the many projects the Center for Emerging Media has in the works, and to play a part in shaping the future of the organization,” Levy said.
Justin Levy is the second new hire for CEM in less than a month. Just a week and a half ago, CEM announced it had hired Jessica Phillips as a producer. Phillips was also a producer at the Marc Steiner Show.
“I'm really pleased that Justin has decided to join us,” Phillips said. “He was a great coworker at WYPR and I am excited to continue our collaboration at CEM.”
Marc Steiner, executive director of CEM, expressed similar sentiments. “I am elated that the old team is gathering around,” he said. “We're going to forge ahead and create some amazing new work together.”
