Okay, I saw it at the Senator, which was packed! As much as it rankles me to verify any "buzz" I have to admit, Heath Ledger gave a truly transcendent performance. If he does win an Oscar for it, yes it will be because his death convinced the Academy to look beyond their distaste for big budget action movies---but he WILL be deserving of it.

The action scenes were a little boring. They all start to run together.
