Here is the latest BBC interview with Zalmay Khalilzad. Khalilzad was a prime architect of the PNAC program for world hegemony, and thinks our occupation of Iraq is successful, because it has prevented the rise of a power in the region more dominant than the U.S. (his opinion).
Khalilzad is now the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Formerly, he has been the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, and then to Iraq.
