Chris, I agree with what you've just said. Marc often had guests on with whom I disagreed. For instance, Richard Vatz drove me crazy most of the time, as did various guests from the American Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation, for starters. But I listened and learned how the other side of the spectrum was spinning the events of the day. I often wished Marc would have more representation from the progressive community and I sometimes felt he gave those AEI type folks too much leeway. But again, I learned and grew to appreciate that opportunity to do so.
I think the climate in this country has changed so much (hating liberals has become an art form) that someone like Marc who gives equal weight to the progressive side seems left-biased, when in reality all he's doing is giving people like me/us equal time.
