The show on Tuesday December 18 was great. My 11 year old son and I had great fun this year writing a Christmas play for our church that included music that will at least become part of our family's holiday song tradition. We wrote 6 short songs that go with the play. During the play, we had simple piano accompaniment with pre-K through 4th grade singers. On a CD that we created with a story version of the play and the songs (that now helps my 3 year old to nap), we created versions of the songs that were bluesy, similar to power ballads, and hard rock. These make the Christmas story pretty exciting.
