My fellow Americans give Congress an approval rating approximately equal to an average man's shoe size. The last time I looked - a Rasmussen poll from the end of August - 9% (of likely voters, I think) thought Congress was doing a good job. I am surprised the approval rating is so high.
The Senate just approved a horrendous bill. Cardin and Mikulski, both of my Senators, voted for it.
I'm positive Mikulski won't run for another term in 2010. Her voting record has been abysmal for the last 4 years. Cardin? What can I say? We're stuck with the invertebrate cretin for 4 more years.
