Leading up to Palin, we were forced to watch the dry, normalcy of a Repubilcan convention. By the time Palin came out, people were ready for anything. Shes younger, more attractive, and controversial than the other speakers of that convention. Yet, I heard the same republican rhetoric that I always hear. I wonder if that same speech was given by Barbara Bush would have been received in the same way. It seems to me that the Republicans are playing to white male libido, as weel as the women voters. Don't get me wrong, I know her oil connections are a big part of being on the ticket. I just think they are also playig up the MILF factor as well.
