I was beyond impressed by the extent to which Palin brought her game face. Especially considering that this is a woman who has never faced an audience of this scale before. I think many would have forgiven her for being nervous, stiff, not comfortable-but she seemed like an old hat.

To be fair, I think she had an easier time impressing people because there were no expectations, and everything about her was totally fresh. It's easier for Palin to wow us than it is for Obama to wow us because we haven't been listened to her speak for the past couple of years!
