One of my fellow bloggers last night said the Republican Party is once again the "Party of Mean" and I have to agree with him. I felt there were more pot shots taken at Obama than policy given from all who spoke. Sure Palin is tough, but being a complete outsider to Washington won't cut it. While Obama may be new to Congress at least he's been able to build some relationships that will help him in the White House.
Palin has had the best speech so far at the RNC and I honestly don't expect anyone to top her. The writers who put the speech together for her did a good job and some parts were funny. Rudy and Fred were horrible. The timing and delivery did not impress me at all. But what confuses me is how open the Repubs are to Palin being the new face of the Conservative Republican Party. Is the party not good enough the way it is? Once again, a lot of talk and no substance.
